How to Play Tangle Trail

1. Pick a challenge: Start with an easier arrangement, or choose a more complex puzzle when you're ready for a bigger challenge.
2. Study the tangle: Trace how the ropes pass over and under one another before making a move. Look for the order in which they can be freed.
3. Work through the knots:
   • Find a rope that is not held down by another rope.
   • Slide, twist, or pull the ropes to work them loose.
   • Free a blocking rope first when it prevents your next move.
4. Plan and adjust: Think about what each movement will change. If an approach isn't helping, retrace your steps and try another route.
5. Check the solution if needed: Refer to the solution card for a hint or the full answer when you're stuck.
